Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to hotel, pre-climb briefing and packing check.
Day 2: Marangu Gate (1,860m) to Mandara Huts (2,720m) through coffee, banana plantations and rainforest.
Day 3: Mandara Huts to Horombo Huts (3,720m) through changing vegetation.
Day 4: Acclimatisation day at Horombo Huts — a controlled hike of around 200m ascent before returning to rest.
Day 5: Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts (4,720m) across alpine desert between Kibo and Mawenzi.
Day 6: Night summit ascent via Gilman's Point to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise, then descend to Horombo Huts.
Day 7: Descend through Kilimanjaro's forest to Marangu Gate (5–6 hours), then transfer to your hotel.
Day 8: Free time per your flight schedule, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Safari or Zanzibar extensions available.
