Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to Shose Chalets, pre-climb briefing and packing check.
Day 2: Machame Gate (1,800m) to Machame Camp (2,835m) through lush rainforest, roughly 5–6 hours.
Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,839m) via Picnic Rock, with an optional acclimatisation walk toward Lava Tower.
Day 4: Shira Camp to Lava Tower (4,630m) for lunch, then descend to Barranco Camp (3,950m) beneath the Barranco Wall.
Day 5: Climb the Barranco Wall, then a series of ascents and descents to Karanga Camp (4,040m).
Day 6: Hike to Barafu Camp (4,645m), the launch point for the summit push, with an acclimatisation walk toward Kosovo Summit Camp.
Day 7: Midnight summit ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise, then descend to Millennium Camp (3,820m).
Day 8: Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, then transfer to your hotel.
Day 9: Free time per your flight schedule, then private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
